Welcome to domTrace. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the domTrace.com website, platform, tools, and related services ("Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

By accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you:

• Have read and agree to these Terms
• Are legally able to enter into a binding contract
• Will comply with applicable laws and regulations

If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised Terms.

2. Description of Service

domTrace provides tools for:

• Bulk domain availability checks
• DNS and WHOIS lookups
• Filtering, searching, and exporting results
• API access (depending on plan)
• Optional text-message notifications

We may modify or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without liability.

3. Accounts

3.1 Registration

Some features require an account. You agree to provide accurate and current information.

3.2 Security

You are responsible for:

• Keeping login credentials secure
• All activity on your account
• Notifying support of unauthorized access

3.3 Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts for:

• Violations of these Terms
• Fraud or abuse
• Security or operational concerns

4. Subscriptions, Billing & Credits

4.1 Free Tier

Limited usage, daily credits, and rate limits apply.

4.2 Paid Plans

Pro: $9.99/mo or $79/yr

Ultra: $24.99/mo or $199/yr

PAYG (Pay-as-you-go): $10 one-time payment for 10,000 credits (no subscription, credits expire in 30 days)

Pricing is in USD. Fees are non-refundable except under the refund policy.

4.3 Trials

Pro includes a 7-day free trial.

Ultra has no trial and is billed immediately.

4.4 Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe.

We do not store full card details.

4.5 Cancellation

You may cancel anytime.

Access continues until the end of the billing period.

No refunds for partial billing cycles.

4.6 Refund Policy

Refunds depend on usage during the billing period:

20–50%	Partial prorated refund
> 50%	Not eligible

Requests must be made within 7 days of billing.

4.7 Pay-as-you-go Credits & PAYG Tier

PAYG credits can be purchased as add-ons for Pro and Ultra tiers, or as a standalone PAYG tier:

• $10 package includes 10,000 credits
• 1 credit = 1 domain check
• Credits expire 30 days from purchase
• Multiple purchases pool together and extend expiration to last purchase date + 30 days
• Are nonrefundable after expiration

PAYG Tier: A standalone tier that uses only PAYG credits (no daily credits, no daily reset). Has the same features as Pro tier but operates entirely on purchased credits that expire 30 days from last purchase.

4.8 Failed Payments

If payments fail, we may suspend or downgrade your account.

4.9 Price Changes

We will notify you 30 days before any price changes.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service unlawfully
• Interfere with servers or rate limits
• Scrape data beyond reasonable usage
• Reverse engineer the platform
• Resell or redistribute without permission

Violations may result in termination.

6. Rate Limiting & Quotas

Usage varies by tier and may include:

• Daily credits
• Parallel lookup limits
• API rate limits

Attempts to bypass limits may result in suspension.

7. Data Accuracy

Domain availability results come from third-party sources.

We do not guarantee:

• Accuracy
• Real-time synchronization
• Future availability of a domain

Always confirm with a domain registrar before purchasing.

8. Intellectual Property

All software, content, and data in the Service are owned by domTrace.

You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works without permission.

9. SMS Notifications (Transactional Only)

domTrace (operated by Dirty Degree LLC) may send optional SMS messages for:

• Verification codes
• Security alerts
• Domain scan updates
• System notifications

Opt-In

You opt in by:

• Entering your phone number
• Clicking "Verify," "Enable Alerts," etc.
• Completing verification

Opt-Out

Reply STOP to any message, or disable SMS in account settings.

Message/data rates may apply.

10. Privacy

Your use of the Service is governed by our Privacy Policy, which includes the Cookie Policy.

11. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties.

We are not liable for:

• Loss of data
• Indirect or incidental damages
• Business losses

Maximum liability is the greater of:

• Amount paid in the last 12 months, or
• $100

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify domTrace against claims arising from misuse, violation of Terms, or rights infringement.

13. Dispute Resolution

Disputes will be resolved by binding arbitration where legally permitted.

You waive participation in class actions.

14. Third-Party Services

We integrate with services such as:

• Domain registrars
• DNS/WHOIS providers
• Stripe (payments)

Use of those services is subject to their terms.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time.

Material changes will be posted or emailed.

16. Severability

If a clause is invalid, the remainder stays in effect.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms + our Privacy Policy form the full agreement between you and domTrace.
